Colin Cameron has been practicing law for twelve years and has extensive experience in personal injury litigation, real estate transactions, complex insurance litigation, shareholder derivative lawsuits, securities regulatory matters, consumer class actions, products liability, landlord tenant litigation and more. Mr. Cameron has practiced both at the trial and appellate court level.
While Mr. Cameron is experienced in several fields of litigation, his unquestioned expertise is in representing cyclists and pedestrians injured in motor vehicle accidents. Motivated by representing a good friend in a bicycle accident case in Wicker Park in 2009, Mr. Cameron has spent the past decade building Chicago’s premier Plaintiff’s injury law firm for cyclists. Through his regular attendance at rock, electronic and experimental music shows in the city, as well as his legal work for local music industry clients such as the Acid Marshmallow festival and various independent sound engineers and producers, Colin has met a great number of people in the city’s music and creative communities, a large percentage of whom use bicycles and/or walking as their primary mode of transportation.
In a city as dense as Chicago, bike accidents and related injuries are an unfortunate inevitability, and Mr. Cameron works tireless to ensure that defendants’ insurance companies pay not only for his clients’ hospital bills but also the time they miss work, past and future medical treatments, and pain and suffering.
Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Cameron worked as a music critic for Village Voice Media.
Education and Credentials:
